Overview

PADR 2020 is gearing up to provide research opportunities to PADR members and non PADR members nation-wide as well as globally. The intent is to recognize, facilitate, collaborate and promote research in Pakistan. It will be carried out in all clinical and basic sciences domains of dentistry. Research is an integral part of professional careers. Our aim is to provide a platform to deliver highly structured, thoroughly reviewed high quality research.

Goals

  1. To generate novel studies for improvement of research standards in Pakistan.
  2. To recognize and facilitate research enthusiasts.
  3. To bridge the gap set out by geographical divisions.
  4. To promote research ethics.

I. HOW TO: APPLY

PADR MEMBERS (CURRENTLY HOLDING A VALID MEMBERSHIP)

Please visit the website www.padr.com.pk, research portal.

  • For PADR proposed projects, identify the domains of interest, download the form, and email it to info@padr.com.pk with your credentials, as required. Click here for research collaboration form.
  • For individual proposal, download the form, and e mail it to info@padr.com.pk with your credentials, and research proposal formatted according to the PADR research proposal template with source of funding, budgeting. Click here for research collaboration form.

NON-PADR must register for full PADR membership at www.padr.com.pk or https://www.iadr.org/IADR/Join-Renew for applying for this facility.

Researchers interested in fulfilling the dissertation/thesis requirement, must provide a NOC (no objection certificate) from their existing degree awarding institution(s) and supervisor(s) before submitting their research proposal to the PADR council. Click here for research collaboration form.

II. RESEARCH GRANT

  • For PADR proposed projects, identify the domains of interest, download the form, and email it to info@padr.com.pk with your credentials, as required. Click here for research collaboration form.
  • Limited research grants are available for innovative projects. The eligibility to receive the grant will be decided by PADR executive committee.

III. RIGHTS TO: AUTHORSHIP

PADR not only wants to help researchers but would also be involved in its publication in National and International journals. Rights to authorship will be communicated at the very start of the research.

  • In PADR proposed project, PADR research group leader/s will have the right to initial authorships, followed by inducted researchers.
  • For individuals proposals, initial authorship will be borne by person/s conceptualizing the idea, followed by PADR research group members executing the research.
  • Research Publication charges will be equally divided among all authors.
