Categories of Competition:

Junior:

Currently enrolled in a B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) in a Pakistani based institute. This competition will be limited to those candidates who have carried out their research as part of undergraduate/professional training (research undertaken as an undergraduate dental student).

Senior:

Entrants must be enrolled in a full-time postgraduate program (Ph.D/FCPS/MPhil/MDS/MSc) in a Pakistan based Institute (Proof of studentship should be submitted) or the applicant must be affiliated with a Pakistan based teaching institute as a faculty member with a postgraduate degree (Ph.D/FCPS/MPhil/MDS/MSc) in the last three years from a Pakistani or Foreign Institute. Entrants for this category would have carried out research as part of a higher degree.

Applicant who was not previously nominated by the Pak Association of Dental Research (PADR) for any award or competition

The Senior Category is divided into two sections:

Basic Science Research: Involving laboratory or animal research.

Clinical Research: Involving research on human subjects and/or epidemiologic studies.

The abstract must be submitted before 27th December 2022

PADR is providing dental researchers a chance to participate in HATTON AWARD COMPETITION. One selected candidate will get a chance to represent Pakistan at the next IADR General Meeting in BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA from 21-25, June 2023.
